| The
flow-captor type 4204, together with the separate electronic unit
type 4053.31, monitors flow as well as temperature of oil-based liquids
up to a temperature of 100 °C. The non-intrusive flow-captor with
stainless steel (WN 1.4305) housing and sensing surface, which can
be mounted by 3/4 in. NPT male thread in applications for standard
pipes with a minimum diameter of 3/4 inch or larger. The flow-captor
transmits the pulsed flow signal and the analog temperature signal
to the transducer where they are converted into an analog output signal.
The flow-captor operates according to the calorimetric principle,
which is unsurpassed by other sensing technologies where the ruggedness
and reliability of the flow-captor cannot be matched. |
