flow-captor
The flow-captor and vent-captor are compact, self-contained flow sensors that work according to a calorimetric principle. The principle allows for the creation of compact, reliable flow sensors with a price/performance ratio not possible with other physical flow-sensing principles. Especially at a low flow rate, no other sensing principle can achieve the high accuracy as the flow-captor. First engineered by weber Sensors more than 20 years ago, weber continues to pioneer sensors based on this principle.

weber Sensors' foto-captor Hot Metal Detector systems (HMD's) track the metal from slab reheat furnace to exit coil conveyor. They respond only to infrared energy within the viewing field: They won't confuse your computer with "maybe" signals from visible light, steam, cooling water or scale.
The foto-captor systems feature sealed construction in rugged stainless steel housings, two-wire AC power with short circuit protection, and the ultimate in simplicity -- no adjustments.
Available options include remote lens systems, water-cooled jackets and air purges.
laser-captor
laser-captor is a family of versatile laser barrier systems from weber Sensors, designed for delicate applications in the heavy industry. laser-captor reliably tracks slab movement in re-heat furnaces. Built-in features eliminate the problem of heat turbulence refractions.
As safe as a light bulb, the laser-captor requires no vision protection or other precautions.
The versatile laser-captor system features a wide range of accessories for ease of installation and setup.
proxi-captor
The environment around downcoilers is the pits -- flooding water, steam, grease, dirt and heat. But the proxi-captor from weber Sensors takes it all in a stride. Completely waterproof, they function just fine submerged in 10 feet (3.00 m) of 140°F (60 °C) water. They fit in spaces of only 4" (10x10 cm) square by 1.5" (3.8 cm) high.
For reliable collision protection put proxi-captor on your quick roll change rigs, wrapper rolls, coil cars, upenders, downenders and side guides.
